This will be a short story (I promise). But you won't forget it anytime soon.
I attended the sentencing of the Heydons (from the Atlanta Georgia area) "horse abuse trial". What struck me was Curtis Heydon (I'm referring to the 39 year old) in his statement to Judge Jeffrey"how can I please the state" Langton at sentencing. I heard every word, and have flashbulb memories of that moment etched in my mind. A man is at his best when facing a judge after conviction, and if I am the only one who heard this statement then so be it. I also was "Defended" by the Law offices of Mat Stevenson in Missoula Montana. I have been where Curtis Heydon was more than once in the "Ravalli Republic" where there is no law.
Curtis Heydon had a masters degree in Business, never had any problems with the law, and told the court that he could not find a job in Georgia due to PERRY BACKUS "AND TO THE REPUBLIC" Newspaper.
Perry Backus was there in the courtroom too. Even if you think conviction was appropriate, should the incident which was probably physically traumatic in the Selway wilderness, also became life traumatic due to it occurring in the Ravalli Republic and broadcast to the world about the formerly unscathed Heydons?
Does Perry Backus think out of state backcountry horsemen want to come to Ravalli County now?
I slipped out after Judge Langton stole the show and really defamed the Heydons. The "Honorable" Jeffrey Langton [with two DUIs] asked John Bell County Prosecutor (and of BELL & BELL HAMILTON MONTANA) if he would want the Heydons to volunteer to take care of HIS horses. The Ravalli County Attorney Office had this brilliant idea to "reform" the Heydons by having them volunteer by taking care of horses as part of the sentencing.
At any rate, it is my opinion that the Heydons are only guilty of not being experienced at backcountry horse trips, not negligent abuse to animals for 6 misdemeanor counts. When Ravalli County "owns" Dr. Robert Brophy DVM via the George H. Corn connection, AND he stumbles into a courtroom and can MAKE LAW due to looking like Moses from the Bible (the old white haired dude even has a wooden cane). Those Horses were the "worst he ever saw" [I'M SORRY THAT IS UTTER BS]. Dr. Brophy also has the power to remove patrons library privileges outside Montana law who never were asked to leave the "premises" by staff, law enforcement, or even him. NOT because of peaceful assembly and the US Constitution, but a corrupt Montana Supreme Court

At any rate, Perry Backus comes down the bottom of the stairs not long after I did. On his way out, with his little flip pad notebook I asked him if he saw the statement from Curtis Heydon. In a flippant fashion Perry said "I get that all the time". Meaning I enjoy destroying peoples lives, and it is part of the job I really cherish at the Ravalli Republic Newspaper. Witnessing this was a KECI TV-13 reporter who was making small talk with me.
Down comes the very much esteemed GEORGE H. CORN (who's that?) http://www.georgecorn.com/. We had to ask the President of the United States who George Corn was [see the last line of the President letter]. He answered to no one in Montana, and everyone worked for him. He can assign unlicensed law students to prosecute a case in Ravalli County, he can make law, and not obey the Constitution for the United States.
Mr. Corn, after destroying my life, COULD NOT LOOK ME IN THE FACE in the "Ravalli County Courthouse". I hope the Heydons get directed to this blog post because as an AMERICAN citizen I am so sorry for what they did to you here. Know that we got rid of the guy who did this to you, and he has contributed to the end of people's lives:
