I spoke with the police chief this morning about your letter. He said Mr. LaSalle didn't leave the scene of the accident until after the police arrived. He also told me LaSalle was cited and the case has already worked its way through the court system. The police chief also told me he was sure the Ravalli Republic

We are Still waiting for Perry Backus to find a "hardcopy" of the story covering this 2007 accident.The witnesses to the accident did not see the second vehicle, which fled the scene of an accident. The witnesses who took this picture were there before the Hamilton "Police". The Court "system" which is not based upon the rule of law, but the rule of men that live in Hamilton, Montana:

Comes now, Plaintiff with proper request for civil arrest of party to case, employee of Defendant Ravalli Republic Newspaper, Perry Backus of City of Hamilton, County of Ravalli, State of Montana. This Honorable Court has jurisdiction over this case, and matter before court.
Affidavit which follows is proper within lawful process of the Honorable court, for intentional destruction of character, manifested in authoring, approving the publication, republication of approximately 33 articles, countless defamatory comments published electronically by Defendant within three (3) years of Plaintiff Michael E. Spreadbury of Hamilton, Montana.
Perry Backus acted with malice, failed to edit false information, took personal pleasure in causing harm to Plaintiff by abuse of his position as former editor of Defendant Newspaper, caused irreparable injury to my person and character MCA 27-16-102(2) per affidavit attached.
For these and other reasons to be set forth in complaint, pleadings, order for arrest is proper.
Plaintiff respectfully requests court issue warrant for Perry Backus immediate arrest per Montana statute, good cause as shown herein.

3. PERRY BACKUS, party to case, resides in Ravalli County, State of Montana.
4. The aforementioned case is an action for the willful injury to my person and character.
5. A cause of action exists pursuant to MCA 27-16-102(2) to arrest of Defendant agent.
